Anti-Harrassment Policy

We at SJBHS, have a firm stance against harassment of any kind. Keeping in mind the mode of conducting the conference, and the complications which may arise from the same, we have written down some basic guidelines which all delegates must adhere to, failing which they shall be removed from the committee, and not be considered for any awards. The delegation may also be affected if more than one member engages in prohibited activity as mentioned here.

Depending on the severity of the offence the matter may be reported to the PRINCIPAL / TEACHER CO-ORDINATOR of the respective school/college from which the participant hails. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED TO THE DELEGATE IN THE AFOREMENTIONED SITUATION.

The following must be kept in mind before and during the conference:

  1. No vulgarity of any kind will be tolerated at any stage of the conference.
  2. No abusive language against and/or slurs on other delegates, logistic members, organizers, teachers and the executive board members will be tolerated.
  3. Racial, religious, and /or sexual comments will lead to immediate disqualification.
  4. Messaging fellow delegates, logistic members, teachers, Executive board members, or any person present in the meeting unnecessarily will result in a warning (first offence) followed by disqualification (if deemed fit) for subsequent offences
  5. Delegates are prohibited from changing their names on zoom. You will be debarred from entering the meeting in such instances and removed from the meeting if already present.
  6. The screen share option will be available at the discretion of the EB. However, sharing irrelevant/inappropriate content will result in strict action.
  7. Cyber bullying of ANY kind, on social media (Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.) or via Phone call will result in immediate action on the part of the organizers. The cyber security department shall be contacted in case of any serious violations.
  8. In the process of bloc formation and/or voting for resolutions, delegates found exercising undue influence on other delegates by virtue of power/experience shall be immediately disqualified.

If a delegate/delegation faces any of the above mentioned in (1) to (8), or anything else deemed unfit, the following steps can be followed to report the same:

  • SUITABLE PROOF MUST BE PROVIDED TO CORROBORATE THE COMPLAINT.
  • THE COMPLAINT MUST BE MADE THROUGH THE TEACHER RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT PARTICULAR PARTICIPANT OR DELEGATION.

The following teacher coordinators can be contacted with the proof mentioned above:

  • Mrs. Hemavathy P: +91 98804 32300.
If in case a participant has registered as an individual, he is required to go to the Executive Board members of the committees, further to which the complaint will be dealt accordingly, under the supervision of Mrs. Hemavathy P.

We hope that all delegates strictly adhere to this policy, to make it an enjoyable experience for all.
